Mary Lynn Fisher

Mary Lynn Fisher has studied piano and voice with private teachers for 13 years. She hails from Wisconsin but has lived and worked and performed music in the Midwest, South Carolina, Oregon, Texas, Florida as well as Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and Bolivia. In College, she studied private voice at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and at UW-Eau Claire.
Ms. Fisher has taught Elementary Music in Collier County, and in several American Schools in Central and South America totaling 20 years of teaching music in schools. She has taught 1000s of children singing, music theory, music history and a love for music. She has been the music director for 3 student productions of Broadway musicals and has prepared students in Central and South America and the US for many shows and programs to include Holiday Programs, Christmas programs, Halloween programs, Mother’s Day shows, Family Day shows, Graduations and has taken her students to international music festivals in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Bolivia. She is creative and not afraid of hard work. She works well with adults as well as children and youth and has over 15 years of experience teaching children with learning challenges.
Ms. Fisher has sung in various music groups through the years, singing in trios, religious folk music groups , has sung on an album and has sung solo for over 25 years for many occasions. Ms. Fisher enjoys teaching music as much as she enjoys playing and singing. She loves working with students of ALL ages. She would love to be your private music teacher of piano or voice.
Genres she is comfortable with: Broadway, Pop, Classical, Religious and folk music. You will find Ms. Fisher to be personable, friendly, knowledgeable and musical of course! Each year, she does one or 2 recitals for her private students so they can become accustomed to performing in front of an audience. She is also bilingual (English and Spanish).
